You know how whenever you get a new palette, you end up pushing the other palettes you were using prior to the side? Yeah, that happened. Ever since I got this back in October, it has been the ONLY eyeshadow palette I have been using.
Not only does it have an amazing range of eyeshadows, it also has the infamous Chocolate Soleil bronzer, which has become my favorite bronzer I own.
This palette has gone with me on several road trips because it has everything I could ever need for a look.

2. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 Beauty Balm Skin Protector
I bought this product several months ago, but it wasn't till recently that I decided to try it out. I was worried that it would make my already oily skin oiler and it wouldn't give me the type of coverage I was used to.
I ended up testing it out because I had ran out of my beloved Revlon Colorstay and to my surprise I loved it paired with my Sephora Matifying Compact Foundation.
It's perfect for days where I don't need a heavy duty foundation. It gives me just enough coverage! I loved it this month especially since my skin was dry around my forehead and cheeks.

3. Too Faced Primed and Poreless
I have to admit this primer works pretty well. It isn't as great as my aquaPRIME (which I can no longer find), but it keeps my makeup on all day and it doesn't have that silicone feeling that I'm not a huge fan of.
4. ELF Defining Eye Brush

I use this brush to place shadow on my lower lash line to create a smokier look. Before, I was using a pencil brush and the shadow would end up getting all in my eye. This brush doesn't do that at all! It's perfect and it's only one dollar!
5. ELF Eyelid Primer

After a year of ignoring it, I decided to try it out again for a concert, only using the tiniest bit. To my surprise it worked like a charm.
I realized for my oily eyelids, I don't need much of this product. If I apply too much I will end up with a creased eyeshadow mess. Since I figured out how to use it, this will be the only eye primer I ever buy.
6. Nars blush in Orgasm
I picked this blush up around Christmas time and I have been using it constantly ever since. I don't know what I ever did without this blush.
I knew I would eventually buy this blush because it's a cult favorite, but I couldn't fathom spending 30 dollars, especially since I am jobless right now! When I realized I could get it for 35% percent off, I committed to the purchase and I haven't looked back since!
I know this blush probably looks way better during the spring or the summer, but I love how it comes off on my cheeks. The color gives my face a nice glow, but it's not overdone.
7. Pink Sugar Hair Perfume
I've had this bottle for a long time, but I recently just rediscovered it. I've been using this when my hair needs a little oomph.
8. Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Spice body spray
I know fall is long gone, but my fascination with anything pumpkin is far from over. I love this scent! It's sweet, yet spicy.
I get a lot of complement whenever I wear it. It's such a warm scent and I will continue loving it in the month of February.
What have you been loving in the month of January?
Love and desserts,
BB Cream is always the best!!

Do you have the Sleek Dupe in Rose Gold? Nars Orgasm is pretty, but I does pack on quite a shimmer, so I can see why some people wouldn't be crazy about that kind of a color.
DeleteI already was following you on gfc from a while back, but I now follow you on bloglovin as well! :)

Great favorites! I love NARS Orgasm!
ReplyDeleteI have oily skin and prefer lighter-coverage foundations. I may just have to check out the Maybelline BB Cream!
