A Haul: Kardashian Kolors from Nicole by OPI

It’s finally out! The Kardashian Kolors just made its way into Wal-Mart stores recently, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on all the colors I wanted today. The collection consists of 14 colors that are inspired by the Karshashian women.

I must say once I found out they were going to have a collection of nail polishes, I knew I was going to buy regardless of what the colors looked like. (I know I have a problem.) I absolutely love the Kardashians, especially Khloe.

When I did research swatches, I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I really loved the colors in the line. One thing that I will say about OPI nail polishes is that I am a huge sucker for their names as well. Sometimes I will end up buying a nail polish for the name alone. (I know, I know, another big problem.) The names for these polishes were no different. Their names are so precious!

The colors that stuck out in my head the most from the collection that I picked up today were Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam, Kim-pletely in Love, and Kendal on the Katwalk. These colors are ones that I have nothing like in my collection and I was excited to expand it.

Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam is a dark green teal crème that is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for fall.

Kim-pletely in Love is a baby pink shimmer with purple, green and blue iridescent.

Kendall on the Katwalk is a blue-based polish with blue and green micro-glitters. This is absolutely perfect for the holidays, and I cannot wait to try this out!

One thing I do find with glitter polishes is that they can be a complete pain to take off, which I’m sure will be no different with this one. One trick I have learned to remove pain-in-the-butt glitter is to soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover, stick it on your nail, and wrap your nail in foil covering the cotton ball. Let it soak for about 5 minutes, and then remove foil and cotton ball. BOOM! The glitter should be gone!
I cannot wait paint my nails with these colors!
Love and desserts,

Kim-pletely in Love
Kendall on the Katwalk

  1. Kendall on the Katwalk looks really pretty! Surprisingly I don't have any Nicole by OPI polishes. I was interested in expanding that way though (I am a fellow polish addict!!). Is the formula comparable to a regular OPI?!

  2. I finally tried this color out and it was very pretty on the nails. Like the the OPI glitter polishes this one is sort of sheer until you build the color up. I think you would really enjoy this color! As for the other Nicole by OPI colors I have, I would say they are pretty comparable to the regular OPI brand! The formula is very creamy and long lasting! :) I hope this answered your question and helped you! You should definitely try some of the Nicole polishes out! Have fun expanding your collection my fellow polish addict!!
Keep in touch and if you try some Nicole's out, let me know how it goes! :)

  3. Yes that did help! I think I will be trying out some Nicole polishes soon, as in tomorrow or this week ;) I totally get what you mean with OPI glitters needed at least 2 coats to go opaque too...definitely addicts! I'll let you know what I think of them too. PS-I'm a public relations major too, funny coincidence!! -Chelsey

  4. Yay! I'm glad I could help and you're going to try them. It's good to know that someone understands me and my polish talk! :) Thanks girl, can't wait to hear how you like them! PR all the way! Coincidence, but completely awesome! :)
