A Haul: Kardashian Kolors from Nicole by OPI

It’s finally out! The Kardashian Kolors just made its way into Wal-Mart stores recently, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on all the colors I wanted today. The collection consists of 14 colors that are inspired by the Karshashian women.

I must say once I found out they were going to have a collection of nail polishes, I knew I was going to buy regardless of what the colors looked like. (I know I have a problem.) I absolutely love the Kardashians, especially Khloe.

When I did research swatches, I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I really loved the colors in the line. One thing that I will say about OPI nail polishes is that I am a huge sucker for their names as well. Sometimes I will end up buying a nail polish for the name alone. (I know, I know, another big problem.) The names for these polishes were no different. Their names are so precious!

The colors that stuck out in my head the most from the collection that I picked up today were Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam, Kim-pletely in Love, and Kendal on the Katwalk. These colors are ones that I have nothing like in my collection and I was excited to expand it.

Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam is a dark green teal crème that is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for fall.

Kim-pletely in Love is a baby pink shimmer with purple, green and blue iridescent.

Kendall on the Katwalk is a blue-based polish with blue and green micro-glitters. This is absolutely perfect for the holidays, and I cannot wait to try this out!

One thing I do find with glitter polishes is that they can be a complete pain to take off, which I’m sure will be no different with this one. One trick I have learned to remove pain-in-the-butt glitter is to soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover, stick it on your nail, and wrap your nail in foil covering the cotton ball. Let it soak for about 5 minutes, and then remove foil and cotton ball. BOOM! The glitter should be gone!
I cannot wait paint my nails with these colors!

A Review: Physicians Formula Happy Booster™ Glow & Mood Boosting Blush

So I stumbled upon this product while watching Youtube videos in the summer, and I have been dying to try it. I feel a huge part in me wanting to try this product was because I am a big sucker for packaging. I couldn’t help but fall in love with the metallic pink case and the different colored and shaped hearts. Complete two thumbs up for Physicians Formula on this! I also loved the fact that it has a faint smell of violets!

Now for the complete review of the actual product, I have to admit I am not completely in love with it, but I don’t hate this product either. Physicians Formula’s claim to this product is that the Happy Boost Blend that features Happy Skin and Euphoryl is supposed to promote happiness by imitating the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress.

Do I think this product makes me happy whenever I wear it? No, not really, but it does make me happy whenever I look at it on my bathroom counter. I ended up buying the blush in the color Rose, which is gorgeous in the packaging and on the cheeks. This product does contain light shimmers that allow your cheeks to glow without making it look unnatural, which I love, and it gives me a radiant look whenever I wear it.

Overall, this is a nice blush, so it isn’t a complete disappointment. It may not be my favorite blush in my collection, but I have been using it daily since I bought it and I still do enjoy using it. This was my first Physicians Formula product, and I am looking forward to trying more of their products.
Love and desserts,
Ashley
